LifeSource Biomedical is a Limited Liability Company headquartered in Northern California. LifeSource provides contract research and development services with a focus on pre-clinical models to biopharmaceutical companies, academic, and non-profit institutions. LifeSource offers a very unique experience to their biotech and research clientele. With multi-level research support platforms and a vast network of local expertise, LifeSource actively demonstrates the strong advantages of a team spirit and networking attitude. Our location, on the NASA campus, also provides an added layer of convenience as the location is only a 20 minute commute from more than 800 local biopharmaceutical and research institutions. In addition to the convenient location and competitive advantages for our clientele LifeSource is truly unique in that the majority shareholders are Native Alaskans who benefit directly from the company’s success.
Goldbelt, Inc., headquartered in Juneau, Alaska is an Alaskan Native Urban Corporation (ANC) established under the 1971 Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) to positively benefit the economic status of its disadvantaged shareholders. Goldbelt, Inc. is the majority owner of LifeSource Biomedical, LLC and has over 3,500 Alaska native shareholders who benefit from the economic and business development initiatives carried out by LifeSource Biomedical and other subsidiary businesses. LifeSource has been granted their 8(a) status through the SBA 8(a) program to receive special rights as an ANC Federal Contracting Organization.
To date, Goldbelt, Inc. has paid over $62M in dividends to its shareholders. The average shareholder owns 100 shares and has received approximately $230 per share from the Corporation since its inception.
