LifeSource was awarded SBA 8(a) Program status in January 2009, allowing special rights as an ANC in securing government services contracts. As an ANC, LifeSource can receive direct (noncompetitive) awards of government contracts, with no size limitations on those awards; and once a direct award has been made, it cannot be protested. Any large firm that uses LifeSource as a subcontractor will receive small business credit for our participation. LifeSource is interested in teaming with selected firms to pursue government services opportunities in our practice areas.
